Pinewood Derby Clinic Info
The pinewood Derby Clinic will be held this Saturday, January 5th at the Anderson's General store. The event is between the hours of 9 am–4 pm. They said "bring your car kit and design; our experts will cut your car out. Sanding and finishing tools also available for parents and scouts to use."
For the seasoned parents who prefer cutting their own cars, Lowe's Dublin is also providing a clinic on the same day. The Loewe's clinic goes over tips to construct your car with a Dremel power tool. The Loewe's clinic hours are between 11 AM and 4 PM. I strongly encourage the tiger parents to visit the Anderson's event this weekend.

Finally here is the moment we were waiting for, our 2nd annual Night at the Museum trip is scheduled for February 16, 2013. As I mentioned during our previous Pack meeting, last years event was a big success. Every scout that attended wanted to do it again.
This year the program is going to be even better. The theme of this year program is “60 Second Science”. Our scouts will be working with bows and suction cup arrows, air cannons, and more! The best part of this overnight event that it does not have any age limit requirements. This program is perfect even for the first year scouts so they could experience their first overnight trip. To learn more about this program please follow this link:
http://www.cosi.org/scouts/camp-in/scouts-overnight.
The full cost for this event is $35. After talking to our treasurer, we decided that the Pack will cover 50% of the cost or $18 and each
scout would need to pay $17 to participate. Parents and siblings will have to pay the full price of $35.
During our upcoming Pack meeting I will have a sign-up sheet and everybody who is interested in this event can register at the Pack meeting. If you are unable to get to the Pack meeting next week but still interested to go please email me and we will set it up. Please note that we need to go through the registration process fairly quickly since I need to pay for this event at the end of December.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Boris Kushnir
